“There has been a series of peculiar sightings in this small town surrounded by mountains. Some say they are spirits, others say they are deities and the rest just don’t believe in this nonsense.”

Peculiar Sightings Zine

I've always been a very sentimental person, always looking back instead of ahead. This zine is filled with memories and places I want to preserve in one form or another. The diecut sleeve is the exact pattern of the window at my grandma's house that has been passed down through generations that I'm afraid one day will no longer stand. Looking through the window is 6-year-old Riynn, staring into the forest. This zine is a compilation of daydreams, nightmares and play-pretend, of stories that I've pulled from the depth of my memories.

"The adults believe our souls return as moths to comfort the living. I try to catch them every time just so they can stay a little bit longer."
