Adventure Awaits Series
In 2022, I decided to create a series of illustrations for a calendar with the theme being 'Adventure Awaits'. It was the year I had quit my job to pursue the path of a full time illustrator, and this was sort of like a new beginning for me. Inspired by fairy tales I read as a kid, the illustrations feature Little Witches going on different adventures, living the life I wish for myself.
This was also a chance for me to sharpen my story telling skills. As each illustration came with a little backstory. They are currently on sale separately as postcards.“The Sea Witch set sail one day on the little craft she built, she sailed for days until she reached the part where the bright blue sea merged into murky strange waters, this was the strange border her grandmother had warned about, the border that even the most seasoned sailors never dared crossed.”
